Free Pickup for all City of Los Angeles Solid Waste Containers on April 22, 2024
(any color - black, blue and/or green)

Councilwoman Katy Yaroslavsky and Council President Paul Krekorian together with the City of Los Angeles Sanitation and Environment will raise up your holiday spirits by emptying your City-issued solid waste containers on Monday, April 22, 2024, the day before Passover.  To get a Passover pickup follow these 2 easy steps :

1) If you live within the boundaries of either the La Brea/Hancock Park (click on Red button for map) or the Pico/Robertson areas (click on Green button for map) you are already set for a pickup.  All containers set out will be collected in these areas sometimes throughout the day and you can skip to step 2!

If you DO NOT LIVE within these boundaries, BUT STILL LIVE IN LOS ANGELES (we do not pickup in other cities), please sign-up for your Passover Pickup by clicking on the Other LA Area Pickups link (click on Blue button) and use the form provided to sign up (make sure to click the "Submit" button at the very bottom)  - note that sign-ups for Other LA Area Pickups closes at 6:00 pm April 21st.  Then...

2) On Monday morning, April 22nd,  Erev Pesach, put your containers set out at the curb BEFORE 6:00 AM - containers NOT OUT by 6:00 am may be left uncollected!

NOTE:
Drivers will only collect containers that are set out on the street or alleyway !  We do not guarantee all containers will be collected before Passover begins but we will do the best we can.

Thank you to Councilwoman Yaroslavsky, Council President Paul Krekorian and LA Sanitation!!
